Songs from the Imagination: Music Inspired by the Poetry of William Blake

Few poets have inspired as many composers and musicians as William Blake. Join us as the Yale Voxtet enlivens the Library Court with the music of Benjamin Britten, John Tavener, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and other composers who found inspiration in Blake’s words.
Presented in connection with the Yale Center for British Art’s exhibition William Blake: Burning Bright.
Free and open to the public.
This program is presented through the generosity of the Terry F. Green 1969 Fund for British Art and Culture.
