Book Launch: Eating Chocolate & Watching the Moon with Catherine Steinberg
Guilford Author Writes about Spiritual Awakening through Loss and Karmic Resolution in New Book: Eating Chocolate and Watching the Moon
Please join Catherine Steinberg to celebrate her new book Eating Chocolate & Watching the Moon at a special Book Launch & Reading on Saturday, November 2, 2-5 pm at the Guilford Free Library (67 Park Street, Guilford).
The journey of becoming a mother, expanding the identity of the self and the completion of family karma within a spiritual context are major themes that Catherine, a psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner, artist and author, writes about in her new memoir. Some on the shoreline may be familiar with the Guilford resident’s ongoing exhibit at Mercy by the Sea in Madison. On display is Catherine’s series of thirteen paintings depicting aspects of the Divine Feminine called The Mary Paintings. Catherine, who earned her BA from Mount Holyoke College and MA from the University of Connecticut, has facilitated expressive arts workshops and retreats at Mercy by the Sea, and elsewhere in Connecticut and New Mexico. She has also been a member of the Shoreline Arts Trail for many years.
